How to Research an Affiliate Marketing Course or Product

How to Research an Affiliate Marketing  Course or Product

You may of got and email or heard of some about course on marketing or making money online. Or maybe you just searched google for internet marketing courses. Always try to find out more information before you go out and spend any money on any marketing course.

Research the Course on Google

First type the name of the course in google search. Click the show options on the top left of the search results page. Now you have more search options to use. Click Discussions, this will show results from various forums and discussion sites. Look for any reviews, or comments on the product. Look any positive comments, preferably more than one, and recent ones as well.

Look for results on sites like www.scam.com to find out if the course or person is listed here. You want to find out if there are any bad reviews.

Also try the blogs link, as well. Look for fake reviews being made by affiliates that are just promoting the product.

Where to find Affiliate Marketing  Courses

A lot of the more popular affiliate  marketing courses are sold through clickbank. One place to start looking would be the clickbank marketplace, at www.clickbank.com

The clickbank site lists to its affiliates, various downloadable products software and courses. But you dont have to be an affiliate to use the site. You can see what are the top selling courses, and thus probably the best ones.

Go to Clickbank, com, then go to the E-business & E-marketing categories. This should give you a good list of marketing ebooks and courses. Look for a course with high popularity. Make note of the Gravity of the product. The higher the gravity, the chances are it is a good selling product. If a product has a 0 gravity and no sales it is either new or not a good selling product. Also try searching for affiliate or CPA.
If you decide that you want to sell some of the click bank products, then join as an affiliate.

Other places to look online would be internet forums and discussions. Uses the Google search with the “Show options” as mentioned earlier in this article.

Watch out for the up sell offers

If your finally decide on a marketing course or product, be prepared to see  additional offers  when you actually make the purchase. Many internet marketing offers have this type of “back end” up sell.  They try to sell additional offers immediately after you make your initial purchase. You can simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click no thanks and continue on.

The last course that I purchased had about 4 or 5 pop up windows trying to sell additional products before I could finally check out. Just be aware that these things will happen when you purchase a affiliate marketing course on the internet.

PPC Web Spy can help you figure those things out. This tool is designed to show you the Google Adwords keywords that websites are using to get traffic. Since Google Adwords is the most popular pay per click advertising company online, using this tool can help your PPC campaign get you better results.

If you search on a word or phrase at Google, ads that are using those keywords through Google Adwords will show up on the search page. These ads are usually on the top and right hand side of the page. PPC Web Spy can show you the keywords used in those ads.

After you’ve made such a search, you click the program’s icon in the bottom right hand corner of your web browser screen. Then you do the Google search again. Now a “view keywords” button will appear below each pay per click ad!

First, now that you know the keywords your competition is bidding on, you know the keywords you should try to bid on, too. This can be a great help if you’re just getting started. If you don’t really understand the whole keyword concept, or don’t know much about it, now you do. You’ve got an entire list to choose from with just a few clicks.

You get more that just a list of keywords, though. The list also shows that keyword’s ranking, the average cost per click and the average cost per day. It also shows the maximum cost per click, and how many clicks that keyword gets per day.

You get all that information from your competitor’s ad! And that information can help you decide which keywords are worth bidding on to try get them and get that traffic instead of letting your competitor get the traffic first.

The program will also show you if the person is a Clickbank affiliate. This means they’re selling an information product through Clickbank, which allows others to sell that information for them and receive commissions.

If you’re trying to maximum the results of your pay per click campaign, then a great keyword tool like PPC Web Spy can help you.

Social Bookmarking for Blog Advertising

Social bookmarking sites are a growing trend and are becoming more popular each and every day. They are a great place to share your bookmarks with everyone and to be able to access them from any computer. They are also a great place that you can post a link to your blog.

There are over fifty social bookmarking sites that you use to submit your link to your blog. Digg, Digo, Blue Dot, and del.ico.us are just a few of them that are the most popular. Each site has its own guidelines and rules for posting links, so it’s important that you want to read the rules that they have before you post any links.

Because social bookmarking isn’t as targeted as other forms of advertising for your blog, you may find that it will take longer for it to be effective. But it’s also a good way for you to get your blog noticed and it may bring in people who may not have found your blog another way.

Since social bookmarking doesn’t always give you the opportunity to know who it is that has seen your site, or get to know other people, it’s always a good idea to keep track of the visitors who say they were linked to your site through a bookmarking site. If the site allows you to put a comment, ask people to let you know on your blog that they found it through a social bookmarking site and which one. That will help you know how effective it is.
